My name is Karen Cohen. I was born in Atlanta and raised in Sarasota, Florida. My background has always been in management but after we sold our Veterinary Hospital, I decided to pursue the things that have always been my personal interests and desires...real estate and home staging and redesign. I am a licensed Real Estate agent and an Interior Staging and Redesign professional.

After many years of redesigning our homes and the homes of family, friends and referrals, I decided it was time to consider a business to market my skills to others. I received my certification in Interior Redesign & Real Estate Staging with Transformations Staging & Redesign School and Home Staging Resources.

I received my certification in Interior Redesign & Real Estate Staging with Transformations Staging & Redesign School and Home Staging Resources.
I have truly enjoyed the relationships and friendships that I have developed over the years. I love the interaction of seeing the needs of a property and making the changes that helps sell your home quicker and also redesigning your existing home with simple changes to offer an entire new look. Staging a home prior to listing can help sell for up to 6% over the asking price in 12 days. The area average is 96% of asking price and 56 days on the market.

My style is transitional. I'm not too modern but not too traditional, either. I prefer a home full of grays, beige and other neutrals. I like simply framed artwork that doesn’t cause too much of a fuss. Serenity is your goal at home. What I enjoy most is helping others express themselves through their own home decor. The self discovery is so fulfilling and makes for the perfect environment. I recently heard at a design meeting that a woman's powder room should divulge her personality.
